In the academic sphere, the program is aimed at training specialists in the field of theoretical and applied Informatics who are able to develop and promote computer science on the basis of existing and internationally recognized achievements and established practices.
In the industrial context, the program prepares specialists who, immediately after graduating from university, can integrate into the existing industrial environment. In this regard, the program focuses on training specialists to create and maintain integrated information systems and services, to use advanced technologies, applied programming techniques, and to administer computer systems.

Program Benefits
- Comprehensive training of IT specialists with a broad skill set. The main programming languages include PascalABC.NET, C#, C++, Python, JavaScript (along with libraries), Ruby, and others.01
- To enter the university, you only need to pass two exams — mathematics and English. The training process is conducted in English.02
- The content of the program courses was developed taking into account the different levels of basic preparation in mathematics and computer science of students coming from different countries.03
- Project activities involve first year students working on a project together with second year students. By performing this module, students develop teamwork skills.04

The learning at ЮФУ (SFedU) has been good and productive, in my opinion. It’s a good environment, even for a foreign student like me. There are options to study in either English or Russian, and the schedules are quite convenient. Students aren’t pushed to their limits, and teachers are always available to give lectures.
